当サイト"Wild Flowers"は中央大学の学部生、院生を中心とした自主的な勉強会・研究会のポータルサイトです。Wild Flowersでは主に、現代思想をベースとして国際関係、政治学、社会学、カルチュラル・スタディーズ、ポスト・コロニアリズム、日本論などを研究している学生がいます。
私たちは大学を自由な研究の場所として考え、既存の大学の枠組みにとらわれることなく、学生自身の自主性によって研究を進めていくプロセスを重要視しています。また各勉強会・研究会では、協同的な学習スタイルをとっており、学生たち自身で協議したテーマの基礎知識の修得を目指してます。勉強会・研究会では毎週熱のこもった議論が学部生・院生問わず行われています。またこうした研究会・勉強会の集まりとして、定期的に発表会や討論会、合宿などの各種イベントを行っています。
このサイトでは主に学生の書いた論文や研究ノートを閲覧できるほか、時事問題や研究手法などの幅広いテーマを扱ったフォーラムにも参加することができます。また、これからも私たちの研究のプロセスのほとんどがこのサイトに反映されることを目指してこのサイトを発展させていきたいと思っています。
Introduction
"Wild Flower" is an informal study circle in Chuo University in Japan. We are challenging for knowledge acquisition and uncovering society in a comprehensive manner in the head of 21 century. Based on contemporary thoughts, we have tried to take trans-discipline studies crossing over international relation, politics, sociology, cultural studies, post colonialism, Japan studies and the other critical knowledge. We are eager for the inter-relationships between thought including the disciplines above and the society and we have practiced to organize several study groups: policy and society, international relation, knowledge and society and culture.
These study groups bring the place of the free study and collaborative learning process for from under graduate students to doctral course students together. There are enthusiastic discussion in every week.
Toward "Attractive" and "Meaningful" WEB Site and Social Change
This site will show you a studying process of each students and attractive articles on Blog and PDF file, and frequent discussion about social and cultural issues on our Forum. If you register your ID, you can participate. Moreover in this site, you can post and check socially attractive events like social activism, art festival and so on, mainly in Tokyo and external link to the significant organization and individuals websites to either understand or touch the Japan society. And also you can post and browse movies and pictures for our free expression.
I think the Internet bring the place of intellectually freedom and the possibility of highly interactive communication beyond time and space. I hope the phrases, opppinions, informations and knowledge expressed on this site will change yourself even partially, and we can communicate with each other both online and offline, and moreover we can connect with the other's network. And then we can change, I beleve, the world better step by step.
Finally, Wild Flowers appreciate for Professor Mojtaba Sadria, who gives us his deep knowledge and the occasion to make this intellectual networks based on trust, caring, critical thinking, subjectivity and inter-subjectivity.
